I spend my days chasing waves with my kids, barefoot in the sand, soaking up the sun, the ocean breeze, or the sweet smell of the pine trees – a life I used to dream about since I was eight years old and tried to hide when we had to leave the vacation home in Italy.

It was the happiest place on earth for me, and I wanted to stay there, but not only stay there: Live there, learn Italian, spend my life where I feel alive and at peace.
